Personal Bio
As an Investment Manager at Northstar, Rick is involved in making and managing investments into early stage and digital businesses. He also works with a portfolio of existing investee companies, with a particular focus on B2B SaaS. He is the lead on Northstar’s investments into Caspian, Atlas Cloud, Clixifix, amBX, Specifiedby, PopTopUK, Ricochet.ai, NFL Pickwatch, Donr, Papertrail.io, Wordnerds & others.
Rick joined Northstar in 2012 after training as a Chartered Management Accountant and working for a specialist debt fund. He was also involved with the launch of Accelerated Digital Ventures, working with the team to establish the national fund until their full-time team was recruited. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistics from Newcastle University.
